The aims of this study are to examine how the teachers select and manage the contents of the subject, 『practical training of technology』 , in the technology affiliated department of technical high school, and to find schemes of selection and management of the practical training for the technology-affiliated department in the 7th high school curriculum. The results of this study are as follows : 1. Students can`t accomplish the objectives of the subject, 『practical training of technology』 , suggested in the current curriculum. 2. According to the current curriculum, each student practice three to six practical training circularly during one year, and select only one content among the expert training and practice it agin and again during two years. 3. According to the inquiry, more than a half of the teachers can`t teach some part among the training contents of the technology-affiliated department, suggested in the current curriculum 4. Students have to select various contents of practical training and practice circularly during two years by a semester unit, and train a wide-ranged basic knowledge and skill rather than high-leveled technology and skill in the 7th curriculum.
