There are around 7,000 different languages in the world. These languages seem to have different aspects at first glance, but in reality there are a lot of similarities in each language, and these similarities are based on the inherent principles existing in language. Universal grammar (UG) is the system of principles, conditions, and rules that are elements or properties common to all languages. Regardless of the native language they use, humans determine the class of human languages that are common to all humans and can be learned unconsciously without learning at the beginning of life. In other words, since humans are born with language acquisition devices (LAD), everyone has the ability to create and understand infinite numbers of sentences with finite numbers of rules, This study discusses the existence of UG in terms of creativity, structure dependency, and poverty of the stimulus in human language, considering the situation that has been continuously studied in the fields of psychology, philosophy, sociology, and cognitive science, including linguistics.
