To increase the production of lutein pigments, we investigated the UV-B effect on the growth and pigments content in an edible flower Tagetes patula ‘Durango’, which has branching and dwarf habits, by cultivating it in the indoor production system of the University of Seoul from Dec. 7<sup>th</sup>, 2020 to Jan. 31<sup>st</sup>, 2021. The environmental conditions for plant growth were 21 ± 3.3°C/18 ± 3.1°C (day/night) in air temperature, 27 ± 0.1% in relative humidity, and 14-h photoperiod of 50 µmol·m<sup>-2</sup>·s<sup>-1</sup> PPFD by white LED.
