Residents of abandoned mine areas share emotional and functional attachments based on their lives in the area. It has experienced the revival of the coal industry and is proud of its contribut ion to economic development during the compression growth period. However, on the other hand, there is a feeling of loss due to the rapid economic decline. Moreover, concerns and concerns about development projects carried out in abandoned mine areas, such as anxiety that development projects will no longer be carried out due to the expiration of the second extension of the Abandoned Mine Area Act in 2025, and the sluggishness of the regional development projects performed so far to have This study was conducted based on the fact that residents of abandoned mine areas have special feelings for the area, and the perception of development projects may differ depending on the degree of attachment to the area.
Therefore, this study derives the cluster type according to the local attachment level of the residents of the abandoned mine area, targeting the residents of 7 abandoned mine areas nationwide, and analyzed their perception of regional development projects by type. This can be used as basic data to understand the satisfaction and impact of the development project of the residents of the abandoned mine area at this point, and to establish the development plan for the abandoned mine area and set the direction of the project.
