People in today’s society are increasingly interested in anti-aging, regardless of age or gender, especially in skin health, due to improved income levels and quality of life and the development of media. Collagen is an insoluble fibrous protein present on extracellular substrates among skin tissues and is synthesized in the body as a major component of skin tissue along with elastin and fibroblasts. However, collagen consumption as a food is required as collagen synthesis in the body decreases due to aging, stress, and free radicals.
