The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of group-led presentations with enhanced self-directed learning on science-related attitudes and communication skills of Meister high school students. Pre- and post-tests on science-related attitudes and communication skills were conducted, and surveys were conducted to determine class satisfaction. The conclusion of this study was as follows; First, the application of group presentations, which strengthened self-directed learning, positively changed students’ science-related attitudes. Second, the application of group presentations, which strengthened self-directed learning, did not give a positive result to the students' communication ability.
