The primary physical environment for the disabled is the residential space. The residential environment is not only closely related to improving the residents’ quality of life in the house but also important as a space to prepare for social life. Although there is partial assistance for home modification to improve the convenience of daily life for people with disabilities under the current paradigm of welfare, it only improves housing for people with disabilities in a standardized simple way rather than a customized way that satisfies the types of disability the residents have. This study aimed to identify residential environment elements of home-modification which can improve life quality of the disabled. The AHP survey was conducted to an expert group on housing for people with disabilities, including the executing agencies of the home-modification program for people with disabilities, research institutes, association of people with disabilities, and academia. This study presents the results with high importance in Changes in level(0.189), Clear width for wheelchair(0.142), Floor texture(0.119) and with low importance in Living environment(0.063)
