Local cultural center maintain and inheritance local culture. Also they excavation and produce cultural resources. They produce chance of cultural enjoyment to residents. Especially, Local Cultural Center is core space of local culture. This research’s purpose is to propose space configuration that Local Cultural Center can perform their unique functions and roles. We did case study and get feedbacks from members of Local Cultural Center for research. First, facilities of cultural center is appropriate to locate in ground floor. Second, members and residents’ accessibility is most important factors in location selection. Third, we distinguish Local Cultural Center space as office zone, research zone, support zone, education zone, practice zone, Performance and exhibition zone, Club zone for their function. Fourth, each zone is placed around club zone. Lastly, scale of Local Cultural Center is estimated approximately 660㎡-990㎡ except for concert and exhibition hall.
