The purpose of this study is to activate the Taekwondo major department of university lifelong education institutions based on the mediating effect of team-based pride in the process of influencing the performance intention of university Taekwondo major performers and provide theoretical and practical implications for effective adaptation. The subject of this study used a final questionnaire of 287 college students as a target group for male and female college students who were active as performance teams and demonstration teams at the University Taekwondo Department and the Lifelong Education Institute"s credit-based Taekwondo Performance Department in 2021. The survey questionnaires were used to collect the data. The collected material was carried out by using Spss 24.0 and Amos 24.0 version. The questionnaires for social exchange relationships scale used by Liden & Maslyn (1998) and Kang(2021) and Seers(1989) and Kim(2016) were modified. In addition, role of team based self-esteem, developed and tested by Pierce et al. (1989) were modified by So(2007). In addition, based on the scales of Kim & Choi(2018), Yoon(2010), Yoon(2014), Lee & Park(2019), Xiao, and Wang (2006), the performance intention was revised to suit this study. The results of the study are as follows. First, the relationship between the social exchange relationship and team based self-esteem of the performance team in university taekwondo had an effect. Second, team-based pride influenced the intention to continue the performance. Third, the social exchange relationship influenced the intention to continue performance.
