This study analyzed the factors on the effect of subjective living standards and perceptions on life satisfaction of middle-aged and elderly women to prevent deterioration in quality of life and to successfully live a long life. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was found that the life satisfaction of middle and old women in Gyeongsangnam-do felt general satisfaction, and the life satisfaction differed according to region, age, type of residence, residential form, degree of education, and marital status. Second, it was found that there was a difference in life satisfaction according to the presence or absence of disease, suicidal thoughts, parents" survival, and subjective social class. Third, it was found that medical service satisfaction, family relationship satisfaction, safety satisfaction, and environmental satisfaction had a positive(+) effect on life satisfaction, and among them, family relationship satisfaction had the most influence on life satisfaction. In the above research results, it was confirmed that there was a difference in life satisfaction of middle-aged and elderly women according to demographic characteristics and current life. This study is meaningful in that it identified and verified the factors that influence subjective living standards and perceptions on life satisfaction of middle-aged and elderly women.
