This study examines the pagan customs that still maintain vitality in the daily life and marriage culture of Russia, and at the same time analyzes the connection with the Eastern Slavic mythology as the historical origin of the pagan tradition. The superstitious reverence for the earth in everyday culture in Russia is a representative pagan tradition that has been maintained to this day. The superstitious tradition of the ancient Russians who thought they could know the future through various spirits has maintained its superstitious tradition to this day. The blessing ceremony of parents is the most important part of the traditional Russian wedding ceremony. This tradition of parental blessing has been carried out as a family event before leaving for the cathedral where the wedding ceremony is held to this day after Orthodox Christianity was introduced to Russia. In conclusion, Russia's religion has developed into a 'double belief' system, an awkward combination of a special religious form, Christianity, and indigenous beliefs after Archduke Vladimir of Kiev accepted Orthodoxy. Although this system may undermine the identity of the central state of the Orthodox Church and the devout Orthodox Christians, it is also taking root as a tradition in the daily and marriage culture of modern Russians. Of course, as Christian and pagan traditions and pagan superstitions were added to each other, Russian culture, including daily life and marriage culture, became rich and dynamic as a whole.
