This study attempted to present practical implications for promoting national park by comparing how the information use behavior of national park visitors differs by age group. The results of comparing the information you want to know before visiting the national park by age group and the media used when obtaining the information are as follows. First, compared to other age groups, the information that people in their 20s want to know before visiting the national park was found to be the fare system and park laws, and the media mainly used to obtain information were national park publications and SNS. Second, those in their 30s wanted to know about information on park facilities and obtained information mainly using SNS among Internet media. Third, people in their 40s wanted to know information on tour programs, accommodation, local food, surrounding tourist attractions, transportation and weather, park laws, park facilities, and ecotourism before visiting. In addition, homepages and the Internet were mainly used to obtain information, and it was found that portal sites, Internet cafes, and blogs were used at the highest rate among Internet media. In other words, it was found that those in their 40s wanted to obtain a wide range of information through various media. Fourth, compared to other age groups, people in their 50s answered that they wanted to know hiking and exploration safety information before visiting, and the media was a national park application, and video sites accounted for the highest percentage of Internet media. Finally, the information that groups in their 60s and older want to know was mountain climbing and ecotourism information, and among the media used, national park publications, travel books, broadcasting, newspapers, magazines, acquaintances, and past experiences were the highest compared to other age groups. In addition, video sites showed a high percentage of Internet media used to obtain information.
