In this study, a total of 211 copies were used for the final analysis through a document-based questionnaire response method to find out about the consumption motivation and follow-up care of women after nail care by dividing them into self-nail and professional nail care. The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of examining the difference in nail care status of women with differences in nail care methods, it was found to be overall significant. Second, as a result of examining the difference between follow-up care and dystrophy management of women with differences in nail care methods, it was found to be overall significant. Third, as a result of examining the consumption motivation of women with differences in nail care methods, statistically significant results were found. appeared. Self-nails and professional nails had significant social and functional continuation motives, and mood-changing motives showed significant differences in all nail management methods, including self-nails, professional nails, and both. Fourth, as a result of examining differences in nail management satisfaction according to nail management methods, statistically significant differences were found in all management methods, including self-nail and professional nail management. Fifth, as a result of examining the effect of consumption motives of women with different nail care methods on nail satisfaction, among self-nail and professional nail consumption motives, function continuation motive and mood change motive affect nail care satisfaction in order ( +), and functional continuation motivation was more involved in satisfaction, which was statistically significant. In this study, consumption motives and follow-up care according to nail care methods were investigated. Therefore, this study emphasizes the necessity of follow-up care for nail care, expects various nail-related studies to come out, and expects to be basic data for post-care programs and product development.
