This study aims to understand the relationship between the consumption value on health consumption, purchase satisfaction and consumption behavior of the elderly in China and South Korea and the differences between the two countries. In order to study, 457 Koreans and 524 Chinese elderly people over 65 years old were investigated, and data analysis was conducted using spss27.0 and amos25.0. The results are as follows. Firstly, there are differences in the consumption value, purchase satisfaction and consumption behavior of healthy consumption among the elderly in China and South Korea. Secondly, The educational value of elderly people in South Korea and China is an important factor affecting purchase satisfaction and consumption behavior. Thirdly, The functional value and situational value of Korean elderly have an impact on purchase satisfaction, while the emotional value in China has an impact on purchase satisfaction and consumption behavior. Lastly, Purchasing satisfaction of the elderly in China and South Korea has an impact on consumption behavior, among which tangible satisfaction is the more important factor.
Therefore, for the elderly in China and South Korea, health products should pay attention to the provision of educational content and focus on reasonable price positioning. In addition, companies in South Korea should promote the actual effects of products and promote consumption by the elderly through discount activities. Companies in China should pay attention to improving elderly’s health consumption intentions through good service attitudes.
