Community housing plays a positive role in addressing modern societal issues by increasing social interactions, enhancing economic efficiency, and providing social safety nets, contributing to the construction of a sustainable society. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relative importance of evaluation criteria for community housing across social, economic, and physical environmental dimensions of sustainability, thereby deriving weights and priorities to ensure its sustainable development. The research method involved calculating weights for each criterion using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The AHP survey instrument was based on evaluation criteria derived from previous Delphi studies, and the survey participants were experts from those Delphi studies. The analysis revealed that, firstly, social sustainability is the most critical aspect for enhancing the sustainability of community housing. Secondly, the criteria with the highest weights were economic factors such as the appropriateness of initial occupancy costs and reduction in housing expenses. Thirdly, social sustainability criteria like the activation of community programs and resident participation in management showed the next highest weights. This study is significant in that it quantitatively analyzes the relative importance of sustainability evaluation criteria for community housing, diagnoses the current status, and suggests priorities for improvement and policy discussion points.
