This paper proposes a signal processing method to diagnose faults early using motor signals from electrified vehicles, along with a method to diagnose faults through the processed signals. The system receives motor signals through five Analog Front End (AFE) channels and converts them into digital signals via a high-resolution Sigma-Delta Analog to Digital Converter (SDADC). The 32K data of these digital signals are transformed using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to extract harmonic components, which are then used as input features for the AI. The high-voltage motor output signals are attenuated and converted into a 3.3V input, and further attenuated and amplified within the SoC to provide an optimal signal for AI input. Additionally, for high-resolution conversion, the digital signals are converted through an excellent SDADC with an Effective Number of Bits (ENOB) performance of 15.20 bits.
