The folksong is a song. Since it is so, the folksong's date base has to make basic data of voice materials or image materials that it is made up the songs of an offerer. But the folksong was made at living on the spot of populace, and it is a oral traditional being that was sung according to needs of life. After all, the folksong is a song that is existence at living on the spot. Therefore we must approach three-dimensionally in it's existence environment and variables as well as a song for grasp the ecology of the folksong well.
The folksong data-base was construct by principle that has not only to show the ecology aspect of a song but also to use usefully. Comply with this principle, the construction of the folksong data-base is composed as follows. First of all, the record of the folksong data-base must draw up in the unit of version. And information deads of the records must draw up by rukha-wonchik. A concrete information deads of the records can setting up under 12 heads. It is an offerer, a date for investigation, a place for investigation, a function-title, a field-title, an investigator-title, an investigator, a standard-title, an explanation for a song, a music, a words.
