As the quality of life is becoming more important in recent years, expectations and attitudes toward job have also been changed. Previous studies indicated that job satisfaction affects life satisfaction. In this perspective, identifying the current status of the workers regarding the profession is needed to understand and anticipate emerging needs in the future labor force. This study examines the level of job satisfaction and working styles characteristics of architects and individuals in the interior design occupation working in the architectural design firms in Korea. Data from the survey questionnaire were collected from 271 participants and statistical analysis was administered using SPSS. Findings indicate that: 1) participants' overall level of job satisfaction was medium range, 2) male workers and architecture major have slightly higher level of job satisfaction compared to female workers and non-architecture major, 3) majority of the participants thought that their job was equal in gender, 4) higher numbers of participants, especially female workers and non-architecture major have intention to move to different occupation in short period of time, 5) participants' working styles characteristics were predominantly Conscientiousness and Influence types, 6) significant difference in major was found that architecture major tend to be Conscientiousness styles and interior-related major to be Influence styles, 7) working styles does not have significant relationship with job satisfaction.
