This paper seeks to expose the understanding of Korean and Korea government on China and Chinese & Chinese and China government on Korea and Korean. Although we think Korean and Chinese are very similar each other. But, in fact, Korean is very different with Chinese and Chinese is also different with Korean. So, Korean and Korea governments can not understand Chinese characters and the proceeding of internal and international politics of China government. Likewise, Chinese and China government can not understand Korean characters and the proceeding of internal am international politics of Korea government.
So, I tried to explain what is different between Korean and Chinese and what is different between the way and behavior of Korean's and the way and behavior of Chinese.
The answers are as follows: First, Korean had belief that China is the biggest country in the world before 1840, but Korean finally had found that western empire is stronger than China. 1840 and 1894, Korea lost his belief on China. Korean and Korea government recognize the other world. Therefore, the thinking of Korean themselves and the thinking of Korean on Chinese and China government had been changed fran those times.
Secondly, Korea also had occupied by imperial Japan from 1910 to 1945. Korean could understand the real world and had tried their best to gat independence with joint struggle with Chinese Kuo-min party(KMT) and socialist party. China government had thought that Korea is its like-minded country from that time. Finally Korean got independent in 1945. But, Korean was divided by two as China was in 1949.
Thirdly, Korea government had been keeping a good relationship with Republic of China from 1948. But 1992, Korean finally made a diplomatic relations with People republic of China. Korea government finally gave up coo war diplomacy. Korean had developed all kind of relationship with People republic of China. Fran that time, the understanding of Korean and Korea government on China and the understanding of Chinese and China government on Korea had been changing rapidly.
I believe that understanding and recognition on the certain country makes that country change its understanding and recognition on the country.
