《Iryunheangsildo》 is one of the literature which has the most versions in Joseon Period. That means it is a great worth of the research. It can be understood not only the various changes of different literature versions but also the historical changes of Korea based on the comparison of various edition about phoneme, vocabulary and mark.
This study was intended to make clear the publication date of Iryunheangsildoin Suncheon University analyzing the changes of the mark and the phoneme. It was based on the other versions published 16 century. The research will help deepening the korean historical study of Iryunheangsildo and letting you know the mutual relation between the different version in the 16th century.
Iryunheangsildo in Suncheon University's engraving is similar to the first published book, but Iryunheangsildo in Suncheon University is a little different from the first published book in a facial expression and a scene presentation. As compared to the Iryunheangsildo in Suncheon University and the other versions is more detailed in inserting a concrete scene. Translation of Iryunheangsildo in Suncheon University is a common ground between the other versions It(translations) was written by a colloquial expression for the understanding of the common people. Iryunheangsildo in Suncheon University has a general characteristic, which is common in Korean during mid and late in the 16th century, in phonetic notation and euphonic changes. Iryunheangsildo in Suncheon University was regarded as another Iryunheangsildo's copy of a different edition published in 16 century according to these characteristics.
