The purpose of this study was examine not only general developmental trend to bath the performance and pattern in the fundamental motor skills but also accomplishment ratio of the coordination between 3 and 7 years of age.
Samples were 858 infancy and young children of Kindergartens and primary school located in Daegu, Korea. Performance test items were selected 9 and Pattern test items were selected 5. The result were as follows ;
The performance developmental trend in the locomotion showed a nearly linear from 5 to 7 years of age in boys and girls. Particularly, Accomplishment ratio of the pattern change could be inferred that nearly 10% of aged 6 and 20-25% aged 7 would show matured pattern.
The performance developmental trend in the manipulation skill showed a distinguished developmental tendency as they grew older in boy, while the girl did not show remarkable developmental trend. Then, accomplishment ratio of the pattern change could be inferred that 9% of aged 6 and 22.58% aged 7 would show matured pattern in boy. However it be inferred that 0% from 3 to 7 years of age would showed matured pattern in girl.
