The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in sports leadership and social attitude depending on the degree of participation (period, frequency) of collegians who participate in team sports and to verify the influence of sport leadership on social attitude. In order to achieve such an objective, 332 study objects were collected using convenience sampling method among non-probability sampling methods after selecting collegians who are participating in team sports in 4 year course colleges located in South Chungcheong as the population, and the data from total 318 objects were used in the final analysis excluding the data of insincere response. the conclusion deduced was as follows: First, the longer the period of participation was, the higher the tendency of trait theory leadership, behavioral leadership and situational leadership was. Second, the higher the frequency of participation was, the higher the tendency of trait theory leadership, behavioral leadership and situational leadership was. Third, the longer the period of participation was, the higher the tendency of social/emotional attitude, attitude toward socialization, attitude toward social integration and attitude toward social control was. Fourth, the higher the frequency of participation was, the higher the tendency of social/emotional attitude, attitude toward socialization, attitude toward social integration and attitude toward social control was. Fifth, behavioral leadership had static influence on social/emotional attitude. Sixth, trait theory leadership and situational leadership had static influence on attitude toward socialization. Seventh, trait theory leadership and situational leadership had static influence on attitude toward social integration. Eighth, trait theory leadership, behavioral leadership and situational leadership none had influence on attitude toward social control.
