In this paper, I examined the writers of “Prospectus of Shinminhoe(新民會趣旨書, 1907)”, “Prospectus of Cheongnyeonhaguhoe(靑年學友會趣旨書, 1909)” and “Chosun Revolution Declaration(朝鮮革命宣言, 1923)”. The first two prospectuses are included in the Danjae and Ahn Changho’s collections. “Prospectus of Shinminhoe” was written by Ahn Changho while “Prospectus of Cheongnyeonhaguhoe” by Choi Namsun. In this case, both works should have to remove from the Danjae’s collection and the second work from the Ahn Changho’s collection. Danjae joined Shinminhoe during the patriotic enlightenment period and he worked as an editor of The Korea Daily News, so people are misunderstood. Danjae warned all members of Iljinhoe(一進會) through “Yeouinjeolgyoseo”(A letter to cut the friendship with my friend, 1908), further more he criticized fiercely the Daehan Newspaper and the Kugminshinbo.
Danjae wrote “Notification of Kwangbokhoe(光復會告示文, 1917)” and signed “Independence Declaration(1918)”. Choi Namsun wrote “Independence Manifesto
(1919)”, Han Yongun wrote “A Letter of Chosen Independence”(1919), but Danjae denied the theory of preparation, diplomacy and shouted out for the direct revolution to the people. In “Chosen Revolution Declaration(1923)”, he insisted the independence movement through military power. These three person’s works are a noted composition in the history of independence movements of Korea, however, especially Danjae’s declaration is a literary gem to frighten japanese imperialism.
