Altaic myth-tales have been regarded by us as a collection of whole bunch of similar fantastic stories which contains Altaic mythological themes and characters. So it is quite natural for us to think that altaic myth-tales does not have a logically successive time structure within myth-talesstory-texts.
However the author points out that there are certain possible common structures in the various Altaic myth-tales with which we can understand the Altaic myth-tales as a whole Mythology System, like a Chinese Mythology, an Indian Mythology, a Greek Mythology and so on.
So the author tries to pin point 3 categories which may restructure the various myth-tales as a successive logical structure, like a Chinese mythology or a Greek mythology.
The author suggests the 3 steps of Altaic Myth-tales with a view point of myth-time-logic. The first step is 〈altaic mythology before the creation of human beings〉. The second phase is 〈altaic mythology after the creation of human beings〉. The final stage is 〈an open myth-tales toward the epos-tales〉.
Within above 3 categories, the author gives us various altaic myth-tale motifs which justify the author’s theory. If we can admit the authors suggestion as one of perspective ways of studies, it might be very helpful to understand the intrinsic structure of altaic myth-tales. The results of this study, the author hopes, can contribute to other myth-tales researchers to think over the possibilities and values of a certain Altaic myth-tales system.
