Korea is well known in its export-oriented economic development as well as the recent success in the IT industry led by the government policies. If we comine this two concepts of IT infra and electronic commerce and export or international trade, then global e-commerce or e-trade could be the focus in the future. Most of trade-related parties such as banks, transporters and customs actively provide with the more inter-operable technologies for the global e-trade. And major companies try to participate in the feasible area for e-trade under the promotion policies. However, it seems there is some missing link among these governmental policies, innovative technologies and business strategies. The study is aimed to find out this missing link through the empirical test and to suggest three propositions of intermediaries for the global e-trade as a facilitator, collaborator and web-service provider.
