In this study, we was going to suggest new evaluation standard that could objectively apply to the homepages of domestic tourist hotels. likewise, by evaluating the homepage of each tourist hotel, availing of this standard, this study point out the problems that the homepages have. Grouping for the development plan for these problems, the object of this study shall be offer the stepping-stone to establish the strategy of efficient hotel business through homepages of tourist hotel. In this study, we largely divided evaluation elements into ① contests, ② reservation and purchase, ③ settlement, ④ customer support service, ⑤ security & attestation. In accordance with evaluation elements, we proposed analysis result, problems and the development plan. As the result of studying, the indicating the price for service and goods and other information in hotel generally make use of the only Korean and English. The price for other goods and service except rooms wasn`t indicated. And the benefits of discount, which can be a merit of EC, are very short. Then the reservation function of homepage of tourist hotel very lack, too. When reserving, most of homepage settle accounts with only credit card. Not only the function that support a customer, like FAQ and site map and so forth, but also security and attestation service to protect information of customer is very short. Therefore, when homepages of tourist hotels indicate the price and information for goods of hotels, they should use other language as well as Japanese and activate reservation function to take advantage of reservation form in the homepages. Likewise, they should always strive for improvement of customer support service to offer the greatest convenience for customer. With it, they will have to invest in security and attestation system to protect information of customer.
