This study used factor analysis to verify the validity of `the degree of importance on developing traditional local liquor`. Based on the result offactor analysis, factor one, two, and three were named as `intrinsic factor of traditional local liquor`, `socio-economic factor of traditional local liquor`, `extrinsic factor of traditional local liquor`, respectively. The average value of `government`s support` on `socio-economic factor of traditional local liquor` was 4.292, the highest among 12 variables, followed by `scent of liquor(4.215), `taste of liquor(4.173) on "intrinsic factor of traditional local liquor` and `local residents` opinion(4.119)` on `socio-economic factor of traditional local liquor`. `quantity of liquor` on `extrinsic factor of traditional local liquor` stood at 3.400, which was the lowest. This indicate that Jeju local residents take `intrinsic factor of traditional local liquor` into consideration as a primary subject to develop traditional local liquor. The development of traditional local liquor(mandarin wine) is important alternatives of promoting local community because it can meet the demand of young generation.
