This study sets out to examine emotional modality, one of modality subtypes, and investigates the semantic domains of emotional modality in the group of final ending of the fused form ‘-dago’. This research examines ‘-dago, -danikka, -damyenseo, -dani, and -dana’ which belongs to the group of final ending of the fused forms and each different form of them, and these final endings are fused with the Quotation Construction. The corpora materials used in the analysis of discourse includs approximately 516,484 phrases from the scripts of 100 TV drama episodes. The result of this paper shows that the speakers expressed their various emotions regarding the content of proposition and situations according to the contexts. For example, the semantic domains of emotional modality includs “irritated, criticizing, scolding, nitpicking, surprised, infuriated, upset, displeased, and sarcastic.” To comes out these negative speaker’s emotions, it needed the negative situation of contexts such as taboo, short of expectations, dissatisfaction, disadvantage, an unpleasant matter, affective disturbance, emotional damage, refusal etc.
