The purpose of this study is to empirically test the relations among high school students’ trust in physical education teacher, their perception about physical education class, and their self-control abilities. To fulfill this purpose, data were collected from 347 students(Male 201, Female 146) enrolled in coed high schools located in the Seoul Metropolitan Area and a metropolitan city, and analysis thereof was carried out. The collected data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis, using the statistical program of IBM SPSS 20.0 and the structural modeling analysis was performed, using the IBM AMOS 20.0 program. The following conclusion was drawn from the above investigation. First, high school students’ trust in physical education teacher has significant effects on their perception about physical education class. Second, high school students’ perception about physical education class has significant effects on their self-management. Third, high school students’ trust in physical education teacher has no significant effect on their self-management. Fourth, the perception about physical education class has mediating effects on the relationship between high school students’ trust in physical education teacher and their self-management.
