The first purposes of this paper is to draw a comparison between Su-young Kim, and Georg Trakl, a German poet, through Heidegger’s being concept. The second is to make a revelation the concealed and distorted truth of ‘language’-being. And the final is to find a clue to let two poets approach to each other who neither know nor meet through Heidegger.
During the interpretation Heidegger confirmed repeatedly that the subject to say is not the poet to speak, but the language to be said, that the language says before the poet speaks, and that language is always silent before the poet calls the chosen words. What we can reach an conclusion is that the truth oh language is as the most said and at the same time the silence.
Su-young Kim’s “a profiteer” and “language” are so to speak his representative poetries related to the language. What Kim especially stressed in these poetries is the ability of human being’s to break the silence. According to him every living things, not to mention human beings. can not only speak, but also be silent as they want to do. What he however focused on is that the human beings are the only that can be silent and break the silence to say or to speak.
And to conclusion, Trakl and his poetry can be a sample to reveal the concealed nature of the language being as the most said, Kim and his poetry as the silence, even at the same time. Now they three all could meet at the edge of open area in a pitch dark forest to make a light to reveal the truth of the language being. To be most said is to be silent, and same in reverse. And then only poetic words can be named, called, or corrected to be spoken. So can general words.
