This study produced the angle of leg joint, moment and repulsive force against ground for each type after letting the elite Taekwondo athletes and ordinary people who have no experience of Taekwondo perform the vertical jump along preliminary action. The objective of this research is to evaluate the ability that expresses the action effectively through such characteristics and examine the influence of such ability on performing the action. The objects of the research were categorized to elite group (n=6) and ordinary group (n=6). Two kinds of vertical jump action were performed to measure the action by installing 19 infrared cameras and the ground reaction onto the stepping feet of the subjects. As its results, the conclusion was made as the follows. First, the athletes" bending angle values of knee and ankle joints appeared as higher regarding angle variable of leg joint. Second, it was shown that the ground reaction of non-athlete group was bigger in E2 of CC jump and that of athlete group was larger in E3. Third, it was recognized that bending moment of knee joint was bigger in SSC jump and CC jump regarding leg joint moment of E2 and E3. Putting such results together, it was found out that Taekwondo athlete group was excellent comparing to non-athlete group regardless the type of vertical jump and it was judged that it would be helpful for the athletes and their leaders of the relevant sports and the influence on leg joint for each vertical jump could be also understood better by suggesting the basic mechanical data that can help to enable them to perform vertical jump effectively.
