The purpose of this study was to examine how supervisor leadership affected among flight attendants, the most crucial human resources of airlines. Specifically, it's attempted to find out which leadership style, between transformational leadership and transactional leadership, based on the transformational and transactional leadership that Bernard M. Bass proposed, had a better effect on the Flight attendant. Special attention will be paid to the sensitivity of leadership style impacts to situation variables such as Sex, Age, Position, Education, Airline career experience, Airline management type. Data were collected on surveys in 3 Airline companies from June. 12, to July, 5, 2010. The sample consisted of 438 usable survey responses from flight attendants. All survey questionnaires were self-administered by respondents. All variables in the research model were measured using 5 point Likert-Type Scales. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the impacts of transformational versus transactional leadership on the outcomes of leadership were, as hypothesized , sensitive to the following situation variables: position, Airline career experience, Airline management type. In conclusion, transformational leadership is expected to promote and enhance the effectiveness of the Airline leaders. It is imperative that the Airline industry continues to develop transformational leader or transactional leader up to followers.
