This study was performed to investigate forest resources of Boeun national forest as a natural tourism resources. Vascular plants of bouen national forest were listed 96families, 317 genera, 514 species at Choopoong-ryung area. 121 families, 420 genera, 709 species, 1subspecies, 5 race, 33 variety at Sok-ri mountain area. 101 families, 310 genera, 450 species 1 subspecies, 5 race, 70 variety at Daechung-ho area. Ecological characteristics of these area are Non-equilibrium ecosystem. because of Periodic Forest Demonstration Project of Central Regional Office of Forest Service. The vegetation species diversity of the plants constituting the ecosystem was abundant, and the interspecific competition was more intense than the intramural competition. Generally, a wide variety of vegetation can attract people's attention and become a good tourism resource. Based on this study, it is necessary to make a place to function as a green leisure space that provides forest cultural services to the people through forest resource management as well as forest roads, hiking trails, and leisure facility. Specifically, it is desirable to utilize the surrounding forest resources in order to provide forest education and rest such as forest healing experience and forest camp, and to create a forest botanical garden, medicinal forest botanical garden and ornamental forest botanical garden.
