The purpose of this study was analysis of physiological and psychological factors to over-practice syndrome for korea dancer. This study was to investigate the changes of physiological factor(weight, HR, BP, maximal exercise time), information processing ability(RT, AT), physical fitness, energy substrate(blood glucose, lactate, LDH, CK), and stress hormone(cortisol, norepinephrine) following performance schedule. The subject were 16 korea dancer. Over-practice program following performance schedule were composed of baseline practice phase(-D20; 20day before performance), over-practice phase(-D10, -D1; and day before performance), recovery phase(+D1, +D2; 1 and 2day after performance). Blood samples was drawn from antecubital vein in resting. All data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA on of SPSS, accepting level for all significances was above α=.05. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The changes of weight and maximal exercise time following over-practice were significantly decreased. 2. The changes of information processing ability(RT, AT), and physical fitness were no significantly differences. 3. The changes of blood lactate, CK, and LDH following over-practice were significantly differences. 4. The changes of stress hormones(NE, cortisol)were significantly differences. In conclusion, these indexes(weight maximal exercise time, blood lactate, LDH, CK, NE, cortisol, emotion factor of tension and fatigue) were proposed as markers of for diagnosis of over-practice. Namely, over-practice induced harmful effects on weight, performance, energy substrate, and stress hormone. Therefore, this results suggested that over-practice has associated with decreased performance capacity in dancer.
