This study analyzed variables affecting the business performance of the beauty industry studied over the past 20 years by using metaanalysis. The analyzed study subject to a dependent variable of business performance selected the final 23 researches, and extracted 72 effect sizes. The data was collected through search terms related to management performance on KERIS and the Library of Congress sites. The average effect size(Fisher's Zr) was calculated by selecting researches with statistics(t-test, F-test, correlation coefficient) except for the inappropriate researches. As the research results, first, looking at the characteristics of the study, related research started in 1999 and has been actively conducted since 2010, mainly in the hair area(43.5%) and skin area(34.8%). Second, it was analyzed that human characteristics, physical environment, marketing, and educational variables all have significant static correlation with management performance. Among them, education had the biggest impact, followed by human characteristics, physical environment, and marketing. Third, looking at the average effect size of each sub-variable factor of management performance and influence factors, human characteristics showed great influence relations in the order of psychology, gender, career, academic background and age, followed by location and size of physical environment. In terms of marketing, the relationship between promotion and service was huge, followed by the number of times and quality of education. Fourth, comparing the average effect size according to the type of company, the hair field showed a significantly large impact relationship in human characteristics
