This study has analyzed the sequence alignment of characteristics of generation and gender exhibited in complex culture spaces where are recently constructed. With the selected photos by which the space mood can be appreciated and the adjectives chosen by experts to estimate the space sensitivity, the sequence alignment of sensitivity characteristics by generation has been estimated through 5-phased sensitivity estimation which were 200 subjects in their 20’s, 40’s and 60’s respectively. The following definitions are based on the conclusions from the study. First, in the values of sensitivity estimation of generation and gender according to the spatiality, ｢Open-｣, ｢Orderly-｣, and ｢Expanded-｣ are found to be high in common. The males exhibit low deviation values at ｢Open-｣ and ｢Orderly-｣ and the females exhibit low deviation at ｢Expanded-｣ and ｢Deep-｣. Accordingly, it confirms that both genders have the same sensitivity toward these vocabularies. Second, in the sensitivity estimation at [formality], the study reveals that ｢Orderly-｣ and ｢Effective-｣ has higher values than others. Moreover, in the vision-perception evaluation among [formality] toward spatiality, those categories mentioned in this paragraph also has uniform sensitivity. Third, regarding the gender-predominance characteristics, the males in their 20’s and the females in their 60’s frequently choose adjectives as vocabularies related to the spatiality while the males in their 60’s and the females in their 40’s do not choose any adjectives, which manifests a significant difference in sequence alignment characteristics by generation. As the characteristics of predominant sensitivity estimation is found to respond to certain vocabularies very strongly, we can clearly observe the different aspects of generation toward the formality. This study enabled to confirm that the characteristics of sensitivity estimation not only by generation but also by gender are various. The selection of perceptive vocabularies by sampling of vocabularies for sensitivity estimation with predominance by generation and gender will be able to be applied as useful index at future estimation of design.
