This study attempted to investigate students’ satisfaction with online makeup class and its factors in the COVID-19 era, and the results found the following: In terms of satisfaction with online class, no statistically significant difference was found by academic major, academic year, experience with online class, and academic credit. Concerning the sub-factors of the online classes, contents, faculty, and system revealed a positive correlation with online classes' satisfaction with statistical significance. In other words, as the faculty and contents improved, students were more satisfied with online classes. According to the above results, academic administration should give the faculty sufficient time to prepare class material and content. Second, it needs to pay attention to the faculty’s opinions and quickly build an environment that supports their lectures. Third, there should be alternative plans for academic majors, focusing on training and practice. For example, virtual reality (VR)-based makeup training environments would bring decent educational effects even with the recurrence of epidemics and pandemics in the future.
