Vitamin D, one of fat-soluble vitamins, is necessary for the intake of calcium, magnesium and phosphate ions. Ergosterol, a precursor of vitamin D₂ is found in plants, mushrooms, fungi and converted to vitamin D₂ by ultraviolet irradiation. The purpose of this study is to develop a cream using Lentinula edodes extraction powder included vitamin D₂. The cream was prepared by w/o emlusion using polyethylene glycol, sorbic acid, aloe vera gel, benzyl alcohol and polysorbate.
