This study attempted to define organizational citizenship behavior as behavior unrelated to official duties, voluntary behavior, non-compensatory behavior, supportive behavior for peer or organization, behavior to keep organization in its current state, behavior toward organization"s overall performance, behavior suitable for hotelier in Korea. Since the scale of organizational citizenship behavior used in the previous study was considered to be inappropriate for various limitations for domestic hotel employees. The specific procedure for developing a scale of organizational citizenship behavior is as following. Interviews were conducted with two expert (professor) groups and two standard groups (hotel executives), Through analytical content analysis, the context for measuring organizational citizenship behavior was encoded. As a result, a total of 85 sentences could be listed. Subsequently, an open survey was conducted on 22 academic and 19 industry experts, and out of 85 questions, 23 questions with relatively low importance were derived, and 8 questions reflecting the hotel"s working characteristics were used as they were after a meeting of experts.
