This study conducted a survey of tourists who had visited Gwangju, Naju, Suncheon and Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, and had received commentary services from cultural tourism commentators. We have investigated the ratio of each information acquisition path, the satisfaction level of commentary service, and overall evaluation for related services using a 5-point scale method. The route through which tourists had obtained information on cultural commentary were in the order of the city’s website(21.8%) > information center(16.2%) > an internet article(14.1%) > blog/SNS(11.4%) > promotion materials(10.6%) > friend’s recommendation(8.5% ) > the others(1.0%). The accuracy of the commentary service was highly evaluated in the order of Mokpo(4.37) > Naju(4.23) > Gwangyang(4.19) > Suncheon(4.13) > Yeosu(4.11). Information transmission was highly increased in the order of Naju(4.23) > Mokpo(4.16) > Suncheon(4.14) > Gwangyang(4.10) > Yeosu(4.09). The attitude toward the commentary service were higher following Naju(4.41) > Mokpo(4.35) > Gwangyang(4.23) > Suncheon(4.22) > Yeosu(4.15). Participant’s understanding was high in the order of Mokpo(4.32) > Naju(4.22) > Suncheon(4.11) > Yeosu(4.09) > Gwangyang(3.99). The average value of the inter-regional evaluation for the overall satisfaction of visitors was highly evaluated in the order of Mokpo(4.485) > Naju(4.25%) > Gwangyang (4.21%) > Suncheon(4.10%) > Yeosu(4.06%). Therefore, these above results are considered to be helpful in the education and development of cultural tourism commentators.
