This paper aims to summarize the design methods and theories of high-quality museum cultural products that can be borrowed from each other for the design and development of museum cultural products in Korea and China. The methods used in the research are comparative analysis, symbol extraction analysis, and transformation analysis. The research content is to study and analyze the elements of museum collections and cultural products, and the main research objects are the collections of national museums in Korea and China, namely Seoul National Museum, Gyeongju National Museum, National Museum of China, Shanghai Museum, and Xi''an Museum, and the elements of existing cultural products. A more detailed analysis of the concepts, characteristics, and classification of museum collections and cultural products was conducted, and the analysis and results of the classification are described in detail in Chapter 2. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows 1) The concept of museum elements; 2) The classification of museum collection elements is divided into four categories, including tangible elements and intangible elements; 3) The concept of cultural products; 4) The classification of cultural products is divided into six categories, including cultural products derived from global forms and cultural products derived from regional forms; 5) For the design of cultural products, the design methods used are analyzed. Includes analysis of form, color, materials, patterns, symbols, etc. 6) Analyze elements of museum collections from five aspects, including form and color, and use the results of the analysis to redesign them. 7) The analysis methods are case study, theoretical analysis, and characteristic analysis. It is expected to explore effective methods for designing museum cultural products, and to explore scientific development methods and paths for modern museum cultural product design.
