Human emotions are expressed in various forms by free thinking. In addition to a single personality, there are cases where different types of emotions exist in combination. The purpose of this study is to reveal how the dual personalities that appear in human emotions are constructed and the process of interpreting the characteristics in a formative way. The method of research first presents various types of states referring to emotions, and sets the concept of double emotions that the researcher refers to as control and resistance. Deleuze''s theory of difference and repetition finds the basis that double emotions occur repeatedly. By synthesizing these points, it is suggested that the artistic expression elements of control and resistance can be applied to the concepts of empathy and abstract impulse. The tendency to empathize shows a tendency to actively reveal one''s emotions and seeks to communicate with the outside world through this. Therefore, in the expression style, a freewheeling composition, various colors, and rhythms are emphasized. Abstract impulse shows a tendency to be passive in expressing one''s emotions to the outside world. This is based on human psychological anxiety caused by extraterrestrial phenomena. For this reason, restrained expressions based on order and rules dominate, and a rigid screen composition appears due to vertical, horizontal, and single color tone. In this respect, emotions can be understood as energy that evokes action. The researcher, citing Deleuze’s discourse, introduces emotions as responses and having potential energy. By comparing the two responses with force, it is divided into a divergent form and a cohesive form when analyzing the characteristics that appear in the work. And it shows technical characteristics such as stripes in marbling in works are made in various forms depending on the depth and volume of the mass. Following this process, the researcher expresses the dual and complex state of emotions as dynamics and suggests a new formative paradigm for duality.
