This study aims to analyze the features of research trends in Chinese cognitive linguistics conducted in Korea from 1990 to 2023. Specifically, this study analyzes the application of the methodologies and principles of cognitive linguistics to Chinese research by searching Chinese research papers from the Korea Citation Index (KCI), collecting their bibliographic information DB, extracting the ‘keyword (Korean)’ column to derive frequency, and, using this, analyzing the application of the methodologies and principles of Chinese cognitive linguistics. To perform this analysis, this study adopts keyword frequency analysis as a key methodology and intends to perform a series of tasks as follows: First, the KCI DB is used as raw data to extract the keywords to be analyzed from this; Second, the keywords as data are carefully refined to minimize the distortion of frequency; Third, the frequency of keywords is derived, and based on this, the application of cognitive linguistics principles to Chinese research is quantitatively analyzed.
