The purpose of this study is to analyze the training contents of high school canoeists, and the following results were derived.
First, the canoeists' training content emphasizes the physical strength of the players with "strengthening skills first," and water training conducts long-distance training, interval training, partlec training, repetitive training, and long-distance training according to the athletes' participation events and characteristics, and weight training, circuit training, interval training, and swimming training as auxiliary training to foster physical strength.
Second, the difference between seasonal and off-season training content is that long-distance water training is conducted at the beginning of water training, and water interval training, Partlec training, repetitive training, and long-distance training are conducted for each event from four to five weeks before the match, and weight training is conducted as an auxiliary training. Winter training focuses on overall physical strength improvement and conducts training necessary to improve physical abilities such as muscle strength, muscle endurance, cardiopulmonary endurance, and flexibility.
Third, the difference in training content between excellent and non-excellent teams is that excellent teams implement a systematic training method according to the training plan, and the players' confidence and mental strength to achieve their goals are emphasized. Non-excellent teams did not carry out the program according to the training plan, but were being trained according to the leader's schedule that day, and the training plan was not systematic.
