A song of various forms existed in an in the early 20th century of our country.
This study is to look into an actual figure of a Jabga in the early 20th century. Especially this study pays attention to a gramophone disk. Gramophone disk was made at the most the beginning of 1930’s and medium term. The song which used a title called Jabga is all 235 pieces. “Susimga” is a song to have most a lot of popularity during Jabgas of a gramophone disk. “Nanbongga” and “Yukjabaeki”, “Baettaragi”, “Sanyeombul” are songs to be popular by the followings. ‘kimOkYeop’ made a gramophone disk of most a lot of numerical Jabgas.
Popularity of a ‘12-jabga’ considered to the things that were high-quality during Jabgas decreased. ‘12-jabga’ was a repertory to be popular until 1920’s from the 19th century. However, repertory of a popular Jabga changed to a popular song in 1930’s. The second, a traditional song method was transformed. Mobilized a professional composer and songwriter, and disk company newly made song words. And they arranged it. While scale grew larger every year, disk company formed a huge market. They endeavored in order to produce a disk to be struck to a mass interest. This was a strategy to sell a disk very much. And they had a Western musical instrument instead of traditional musical instruments, and accompanied it of a Jabga. Disk companies constantly endeavored for commercialization of a Jabga through new tries.
