The purpose of the study was to examine changes of muscle strength of surface electromyogram of quadriceps(rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus lateralis) and hamstring(semitedinosus, biceps femoris) at equal the range of motion(ROM) by using isokinetic equipment at equal the range of motion(ROM).
The subjects were conducted by professional soccer players of 8 men. The muscular strength and activation of knee extension and flexion was measured at five degrees of knee joint angles, which are 0°~90°, 5°~95°, 10°~100°, 15°~105° and 20°~110°. For data analysis, mea and standard deviation scores were calculated, and one-way ANOVA were used. The result indicated as below:
1. In knee extension, peak torque per body weight(%) by knee joint angle was appeared in 5°~95°(p<.05).
2. In knee flexion, peak torque per body weight(%) by knee joint angle was appeared in 5°~95°(p<.05).
3. In knee extension, total work(J) by knee joint angle was appeared in 10°~100°(p<.05).
4. In knee extension, total work(J) by knee joint angle was appeared in 10°~100°(p<.05).
Base on the results, in order to muscle strengthen and to measure of the quadriceps and hamstring, muscle strength trainig and test at 5°~100° is recommended.
It is thought that research for training of a femoral region of extended period is necessary in muscle contraction type by knee joint angle in research of later on.
