In common sense, the physical activity has various opportunities to educate a human being. A physical activity has been incorporated into the formal education system for many years. In this manner, Rousseau believed that "true education lies less in knowing than in doing." The best method in education is realized when the development of both physical strength and mental disapline are attained complementarily. According to Rousseau, as the children grow up, they must develop their feelings through movements. That is, it is necessary for children to have an experience of feeling various emotions as well as the development of physical strength. He said that in order to cultivate emotional feeling and physical strength, the children should be sent to the country because the children can learn the meaning and truth of things in nature and the children can re-take vitality in the country. In this concept, physical activity did not mean `the education of the physical` nature, but the relation of physical training to complete education. In other words, the aim of physical activity is to aid children to accomplish their intellectual jobs successfully. Rousseau`s recommendation of movement for the children is not just for physical strength, but there are another advantages which can be obtained from participation in movements. Finally, in Rousseau`s view, the aim of physical training is the development of physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially fit the children through the medium of physical activity. It means that physical education should be regarded as an significant subject for the harmonious development of men, since there is an intimate relationship between sound body and sound mind. In otter weds, body and mind of the human being should developed mutually, complementing each other.
