The 7th Curriculum of korean language education was studied by classifying as the introduction and the area of the text of the korean language. Through this study, it needs to consider the problem of the classifying the area of the department of korean education. The main topics about the revision of the curriculum on literature are as follows. 1. ‘On demand revision’ in a real meaning. 2. ‘Active revision’ by the logic of the korean education itself. 3. ‘Coordination of the learning and theory’ and ‘the connection of the crossway’ were insured. 4. Relative importance of the ‘literature’ area was build up. 5. Basic study about the characteristic and originality of the literature area is sufficient. By guessing the several situations, it's so early to unify the knowledge of the korean education and the area of literature on the four areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. On the other hand, for the desirable revision of the curriculum of literature, several conditions have to be met. First, by doing the basic study completely related with the revision of the curriculum, internal logic of the literature education needs to have. Second, The ways of the literature education clearly have to be established. Third, An environment and a system to build up open discussion about the revision of curriculum in a real meaning
