The object of this study is contribute to qualitative management of the secondary school curriculum of literature through classifying and sorting educational terms for literary education. For this purpose, I extracted the provisional educational terms from the contents of literature domain on the 7th literature curriculum and examined as follows; First, did literature curriculum include the distinguished educational terms for supporting to embody the aims, goals, and central points of curriculum? Second, did literature curriculum show successfully the list of these educational terms? And Third, did literature curriculum sublate the limit or problem of the previous curriculum through revision of terminology or reconceptualization? As a result of this study, I found the aspect of scantiness of the educational literary terms in ‘literature domain’ of the Korean language curriculum, and the aspect of excess in ‘literature course’. And I found that there was no standard of selection or arrangement of terms and no close connection between curriculum, textbook, and assessment. Above all the different terms among the conflictive literary academic discourses are mixed in the textbook and teaching-learning process without explanation or presupposition on the each discourse circumstance, and for this reason are no used to help students to understand literary works. In conclusion, I suggested that curriculum development would be accompany with the standard for careful selection of the terms for the literature curriculum and with the specialist deliberation for decision of the fundamental rules of this standard.
