Labor Law and Social Change in Korea-Research on the problem and political solution of an atypical employment- In South Korea, the labor market was rapidly made flexible in the process which overcomes the economic crunch in 1997. The problem of atypical employment appeared in the process. Atypical employment is roughly classified into three. One is a contracted employee who has set the period of a labor contract. There are most contracted employees among atypical employment. Next, they are dispatch labor and a part time. The biggest problem of atypical employment is discrimination from a regular job. That is, in atypical employment, in spite of doing the almost same work as a regular job, disadvantageous treatment is carried out in labor conditions. Then, the South Korean government has advanced the legislation which protects atypical employment, in order to correct the abuse and discrimination to atypical employment. However, government legislation was not successful in spite of efforts of such the government. In this research, while clarifying the problem in the non-type employment which carried out problem institution above, it aims at considering the countermeasures over that problem.
